HAVE A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TENARKE!
(I'm sorry I haven't been active here for a while. I've been too busy with doing nonsensical things I really had to do. I do drop in and read here regularly, and hope to say something soon.)

Whoops! I guess that I haven’t checked the “Lounge” recently.
Yes; I did have a birthday; thank you very much Wx3. To answer your question, Robert, the clock now indicates 76 years and counting. My health remains good. I don’t really feel that old; if I avoid mirrors, that is. It’s just that some one keeps on cranking up the gravity.
Yes, Wyndham, summer is here; suddenly, and tweaked up more than a few notches. Here on our mountain a dreary, cold and damp winter dragged on into early June then suddenly switched to a very hot summertime with no spring to speak of. Triple digit days, unusual at this elevation, have been common this year.
I see that our President is now admitting that there may be something to global warming after all, not just a bunch of academic hand wringing. Perhaps all the political and diplomatic junketing he has been doing recently has finally forced him out of the air conditioned White House long enough to feel the heat the rest of us are appreciating.
Gravity is not the only thing getting cranked up.
I am reading a play called “Three Bags Full”, based on a French farce. This is pretty lightweight stuff, but could be fun. The price of fuel to get me up and down the mountain to rehearse needs to be considered. On the other hand my theatrical “itch” is back and needs a little scratching. I am still pondering – haven’t made my mind up yet. If I decide to do something about this I’ll cover it in the “Green Room”.

Given the nature of the beast, I think I would just always assume that a particular entry had been written by an enthusiast -- one way or the other. Hilarious, however, that staffers are caught doctoring entries (deleting promises etc.). I wonder if I should post concerning myself -- admired by men, desire by women etc.?
